even if you don't, if i string you up, you'll make a very fetching disco ball. so worth it.
if that's how i go you have to make sure that utada hikaru sings 'simple and clean' at my funeral to really sell my tragic weeb death.
but more importantly, what do the cards say about us going to prom together? is it going to end in fire and disaster or are we actually going to have a nice and decent time? just so i know if i need to pack my running shoes or not.
i don't know what movies you've seen but i can tell you now it probably won't. it'll probably be a stupid masquerade ball or a great gatsby theme because my peers may have money but they have no imagination.
thank you. just for that, i'm upping the things i'm leaving to you in my will. i'll include not just all my guitar picks, but also my comic book collection. remember me fondly.
this is a first. i thought you would be eager to see what kind of weird hijinks we'd get into and how many ways i'll make an ass of myself.
[Also this was new. And strange. It felt uncomfortably like delving into subjects that were best not looked at too closely. Ty felt like he had pushed for more than enough just asking Kira to prom, and even if he had accepted just as a joke, he wasn't about to press for more and ruin the moment, so to speak. It was easier and safer to follow the same patterns they always had, even if sometimes he had to wonder if they were both just going through the motions.]
and you'll have it because i'll be there. even if prom is lame, we're renting out a hotel suite afterwards. one of the girls' dad's owns it, so it means we can raid the minibar and order room service without repercussion.
[ There are always repercussions; actions have reactions, rippling out to some unknown edge and coming back. Kira just--doesn't want to look until they're on the horizon. ]
i know i'll have fun b/c my mom is going to make you pose for about 30 pictures, then leave it up to me to upload them to her fb
